In AHU filters, there are usually several pieces of pre filters and several pieces of pocket bag filters. Prefilters are pleated design, which allows it to catch more dust and last longer because of larger filtration area . These types of filters are made from a synthetic material laminated with wire mesh. Pocket filters are also made by synthetic media, The bag’s surface area can be expanded as it’s inflated, allowing it to catch various types of particles, such as pollen and bacteria.
